This poultice helps to draw heat out from the leg or the hoof and is a natural formula that’s gentle enough to be used daily. It’s easy to apply and washes off easily without requiring intense scrubbing that can irritate the legs and skin. This poultice doubles as a hoof packing—it’s no one-trick pony! Superior Aluminum Silicate Blended With Montmorillonites, Purified Water, Boric Acid, Glycerine, Salicylic Acid, Methyl Salicylate, Eucalyptus Oil, Peppermint Oil.

Instructions

Directions: For tightening legs only: Cleanse affected area thoroughly. Apply Original Premium Poultice liberally (1/8″ to 1/4″ thick). Finally, cover with a thin layer of gauze or cheesecloth, and standing bandage. Remove bandages and poultice after 24 hours, rinse with cold water, repeat as needed.

For minor leg inflammation, swelling and heat: Cleanse affected area thoroughly. Apply Original Premium Poultice liberally (1/8″ to 1/4″ thick). Always cover with a sheet of cotton first, then cover with paper or desired wrap. Next, use cotton or a quilted wrap, Finally, cover with a standing bandage. Remove bandages and poultice after 24 hours, rinse with cold water, repeat as needed.

As a hoof packing for minor heat and inflammation: Clean underside of hoof thoroughly. Apply a small handful of Original Premium Poultice to underside of hoof and cover with kraft paper.
