Instructions

* Check heater for any signs of damage before use.
* Attach suction cups to the heater at the upper half of glass heating unit.
* Mount heater vertically inside aquarium using suction cups. Choose a location with good water flow. Make sure that the water line is not lower than the bottom of the temperature setting display as this will expose the heating element to air and can cause the heater to fail.
* Wait at least 15 minutes before plugging in your heater. This allows the heating unit to adjust to the current temperature of the aquarium water.
* Create a drip loop. Then plug the heater into an electrical outlet.
* To set heater temperature, use the temperature control knob located on top of the glass heater. Most tropical fish prefer temperatures around 76-82 degrees Fahrenheit.
* When the light is on, this indicates that heater is on and heating the water.
* When light is off, the temperature (heater) has reached the desired degrees (temperature) setting.
