This formula features essential oils, so it’s safe for use on both horses and humans. You can also dilute it with water up to 50%, so a little bit goes a long way. It smells great, but be aware that it might stain white hair yellow.

Instructions

* Always shake well before each use!
* Product can be diluted for up to 50% with water.
* We always recommend using at full strength first to establish a baseline, once bottle is half empty refill with water and determine how well the diluted version works for you.
* To properly apply brush the horse first and remove all dirt and dust. Then, brush against the grain of the coat and apply a light mist of the spray; assure even coverage across the entire body and the legs. If you plan to ride avoid the area where the saddle goes. For the face, spray in your hands or onto a towel and rub on the cheeks and forehead. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
* When applying to a previously known sensitive skinned horse spray in a small spot around the hip area and observe for 1 hour.
* Be aware that the formula will stain white and grey hair slightly yellow; avoid using on grey or predominately white horses. It does not affect other colors.
* The stain is harmless (oxidation process) but cannot be brushed or washed out. It will fade away over time. Less prominent when diluted product is used.
* If you have product left over after the season, store in a cool place. The formula stays efficacious for at least 2 years.
