The Marineland Bio-Wheel Emperor Rite-Size E Filter Cartridge mechanically filters water through a pad of double thick poly-fiber, trapping debris and waste particles before the water is chemically filtered through Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon. This pre-assembled cartridge is made with a patented ribbed backing to ensure even distribution of activated carbon and maximum water-to-carbon contact for crystal clear and clean water. The Bio-Wheel Emperor Rite-Size E Filter Cartridge slides easily into place, providing superior mechanical and chemical filtration and making replacement fast, dry and effortless.

Instructions

* Thoroughly rinse cartridge(s) under cold water to remove any dust.
* Shake cartridge(s) horizontally (blue side up), to evenly distribute carbon over ribbed back.
* Slide cartridge(s) into Filter Cartridge Channels (narrow side down, ribbed back facing towards aquarium).
* Be sure each cartridge is securely seated in bottom channel.

NOTE: For optimum power filter performance replace filter cartridge every 2 – 4 weeks.
