Each 100 mL of solution contains: 526 mg Sodium Chloride, 502 mg Sodium Gluconate, 368 mg Sodium Acetate Trihydrate, 37 mg Potassium Chloride, 30 mg Magnesium Chloride.

Instructions

Recommended Dosage
As directed by a veterinarian. Dosage is dependent upon the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient as well as laboratory determinations.

Storage Instructions
Exposure of pharmaceutical products to heat should be minimized. Avoid excessive heat. It is recommended the product be stored in the moisture barrier overwrap at room temperature 77°F; brief exposure up to 104°F does not adversely affect the product.

**What is Vetivex pHyLyte Solution?**

Vetivex pHyLyte Solution can be used as a source of water and electrolytes. It is capable of inducing diuresis, depending on the clinical condition of the patient. It can also produce a metabolic alkalinizing effect. It is also compatible with blood or blood components. It may be administered prior to or following the infusion of blood through the same administration set (i.e. as a priming solution), added to or infused concurrently with blood components, or used as a diluent in the transfusion of packed erythrocytes.

**How is this medication given?**

Solution should be warmed to body temperature prior to administration and administered at a slow rate.
Do not add medication to this solution unless directed by your veterinarian.
